With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the Power/Full Solution for stored DC power products.DescriptionManages approved projects which involve project justification equipment and process specifications, purchase requisitions, financial tracking, installation and the commissioning of new manufacturing equipment. Develops process requirements and custom equipment/tooling for the introduction of new products. Assist Process Engineers with developing, writing and approving operating procedures. Trains operators, quality technicians, and supervisors on operating procedures. Originates and maintains equipment documents to ensure efficient plant operations. Evaluates process requirements and recommends capital expenditures for manufacturing equipment. Compiles data from the Factory Information System or ERP systems and uses the data for analyzing manufacturing processes, including equipment and material variations.  Formulates and presents reports to operations management to identify necessary areas of improvement and excellence.  Supports the manufacturing operation on production equipment and process issues on a 3 shift per day operation.Required Skills

Computer experience to include: Office Suite, Solid Works and project planning software required. CadKey and/or AutoCad desired.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired. Required ExperienceBS in Mechanical Engineering with 7-9 years direct manufacturing experience required with a minimum of 3 years direct lead acid battery manufacturing experience desirable. Project management with 3-5 years custom equipment development experience required.
