Mechanical Drafter -- PT Position -- Great for Students!

Digi International, the leader in device networking for business, develops reliable products and technologies to connect and securely manage local or remote electronic devices.Digi currently has a PT Mechanical Drafter position open.  This entry-level opportunity is located in our corporate office in Minnetonka.

Position Summary:
This person will work with an experienced mechanical engineer and use the 3D design program ProEngineer.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities: Draft mechanical drawings. Work with inventory systems. Place part orders. Contact vendors.

Position Requirements: Ability to work PT (~20 hours per week). Candidate should be enrolled in school for mechanical engineering. ProE experience preferred. Knowledge of the standard Microsoft Office and email software applications. Must be reliable, have a can-do attitude, good organizational skills, and excited to learn new things.
