Mechanical Assembly Technician

Currently we have a position open for a Mechanical Assembly Technician.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Assemble moderately complex electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and assemblies.  (No soldering) per drawings and/or special instructions Install sub-assemblies into training devices per drawings and/or special instructions. Assist electrical technician in performance of their essential job functions Perform minor "fabrication" requirements that may be necessary. Work with shop management and other company personnel to insure the timely completion of assigned tasks   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  High School Diploma or equivalent Two (2) years experience in manufacturing environment, preferred   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES  Work effectively and relate well with others. Ability to use hand tool appropriate for the position. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.  Average verbal communication skills. Forklift skills a plus.
