Marketing Operations Mangager

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director/ Manager for an immediate opening with an Int'l Cosmetic Manufacturing Corp.
This person must be currently conversant in selling, allocating, shipping to and servicing the WalMart, Rite Aid and Duane Reade niche.

Position Description

Responsible for the flow of information and communication between sales, marketing and internal operations, to insure that basic stock needs, new products, promotions and merchandising programs ship complete, on time and on budget. Maintain rolling 12 month forecast that includes approved major account merchandising changes, new product plans, promotions, prepacks and merchandising supplies. Communicates approved account distribution changes, new product, promotions and prepack plans to internal departments to insure that programs and timelines are understood and met. Publishes agenda and follow up notes from internal operations meetings, and alerts, sales, marketing and management to potential delays and problems.

Duties and Responsibilities Major Account Planning
Participate in the development of major account merchandising and POG programs
Maintains and utilizes account POS data to substantiate recommendations
Develops and maintains current pog files for major accounts
Develops display backup packages, pdf photos and schematics for major account pog
Assists in development of merchandising fixtures, supplies, graphics etc
Determine requirements of fixtures, supplies, graphics etc.
Relates requirements to purchasing, operations etc and maintains proper inventory
Develops re-dress merchandise and fixture kits for major account changes
Assists with pog changes and planning at major accounts when necessary
Communicates complete information to field sales and to customers when requested
Assists in the valuation of major account add and delete changes and merchandising costs
Provides all change information to field sales and sales administration for the creation of required customer paperwork, new item forms etc.

Duties and Responsibilities Forecasting and Operations
Represents sales and marketing to internal departments
Provides internal departments with Marketing Calendar updated monthly
Maintains rolling 12 month forecast for active items and merchandising supplies that reflects current and proposed major account pog’s, and open stock needs
Communicates forecast requirements monthly to finance department and operations via regularly scheduled meetings
Publishes notes after each meeting to capture changes, problems, and required follow up
Monitors weekly out of stock report and publishes list to field sales
