Corvest, a leading wholesale supplier to the Promotional Products Industry is in search of a high-energy Marketing Coordinator / Associate. The successful candidate must be extremely organized and detail oriented with 3 to 5 years experience in marketing; tradeshow coordination; vendor negotiation; and handling a wide variety of computer-related support functions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Working with a small creative services team, the Marketing Coordinator / Associate will have primary responsibility for national tradeshows and traffic coordination for a wide-range of marketing programs (direct mail, broadcast email, magazine advertising, corporate communications, etc.).

 

Marketing Program Traffic Coordination Manages the project proofing and approval process, obtaining early buy-in as well as final signoffs from all marketing team members and cross-functional partners (i.e. sales, customer service, product development, purchasing, operations, etc.) Works together with marketing manager, graphic designer, writer and various external service providers (printers, mail houses, freelance designers, etc.) to deliver projects on time and within budget. This will require an extremely organized and detail oriented individual who – on multiple simultaneous projects – can communicate milestones, track approvals, foresee potential timeline slippage, re-work calendar as needed and re-negotiate required vendor lead time. Maintains an up-to-date status report, detailing all active and completed projects (including all associated costs)

 

National Tradeshow Coordination Responsible for coordinating logistics with vendors; booking hotel accommodations for company attendees; ensuring booth properties / show supplies are packed and shipped in a timely and cost effective manner; completing show service orders and purchase requisitions; providing post event reports; and tracking expenditures vs. event budgets. Ability to interface effectively with show management and all contracted service providers in order to ensure all tradeshow services are delivered on time and that any unforeseen needs are accommodated in a timely fashion.

 

Qualifications:

·         BA/BS in related field (Marketing, Business Administration, etc.)

·         3 to 5 years marketing and tradeshow coordination experience (Promotional Products Industry experience desired, but not required)

·         Strong project management skills

·         Organization and attention to detail

·         Ability to multi-task & manage multiple priorities in an extremely fast-paced environment

·         Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

·         Ability to work with others in a team environment

·         Ability to travel on a limited basis

·         Willingness to work additional hours when required to meet deadlines

·         Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
