Position Overview

Web Developer with strong ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL experience needed for design, development, and maintenance of dynamic and interactive external and internal web presences. This position requires knowledge of overall web architecture, web content and tools.


Qualifications3 or more years experience developing and supporting web-based applications. 3 or more years experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET and other web development tools. 3 or more years experience with  SQL. 3 or more years experience with web standards and web requirements and a thorough understanding of web architecture, data architecture, application integrations, and tooling. 3 or more years experience using Object Oriented Design and Programming practices to create well thought-out and maintainable code. 3 or more years experience with coding standards and the software development lifecycle.


 Knowledge, skills and abilitiesUnderstanding of browser technologies/presentation and database integration.Understanding of web-site layout, navigation technologies and page design.Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline sensitive environment.Ability to organize and coordinate projects to ensure they are completed on time and within quality standards.Must be able to work independently and interact effectively as part of a dynamic work team.Ability to independently develop and analyze alternative solutions and make recommendation.Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be self-motivated with good people skills and ability to work with a team.

Educational level: High School or equivalent.
