Manufacturing Manager, Clean Room Operations

The following position is located at our corporate facility in Hayward, CA.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Directs the activities in production area(s) to meet quality, delivery and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on customer need, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding capital expenditures. Manages direct/indirect labor costs to budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Leads and Directs lean manufacturing improvement activities on the floor.

 

Educational/Certification Requirement:

 Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering discipline/equivalentLean manufacturing experience desired

 

Experience Requirement:

 5+ years manufacturing management experience in high-technology manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment or related industry Working knowledge of quick-turn, highly configurable environment

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

 Strong management, leadership and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with operations, engineering, sales, customers and other groups to ensure that site delivery and quality issues are metWorking knowledge of MRP/ERP applications
