Greatbatch is a leading developer and manufacturer of deep drawn metal enclosures for implantable medical devices and other demanding applications.  If you’re seeking to gain a wide range of experience in a hands-on environment, we have an exciting opportunity in Minneapolis, MN for a Manufacturing Engineer.Responsibilities:Perform process validation, production process development and improvements in order to reduce scrap.Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed engineering phases as part a major or total project Reviews test procedures and plans prior to implementation, conducts failure analysis and inspection on products, processes and materials.Performs troubleshooting activities using statistical tools such as DOE and 8D. Prepares engineering reports for validations and design for manufacturability in order to share with customers.Qualifications:Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering field and 2 plus years related experience.Experience with tooling and metal forming a plus.  Previous experience performing DOE’s, capability studies and other statistical techniques.Strong written and oral communication skills.Self driven with a motivation for ground floor experience.We offer competitive pay and benefits to include medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement for employees and dependants, profit sharing and 401(k) match. ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPLY VIA OUR WEBSITE:  http://www.greatbatch.comGreatbatch is an Equal Opportunity Employer
