You must be willing to relocate near New Orleans, Louisiana!!

 

This opportunity is with a custom engineering company that designs, develops and manufactures systems and components for major projects in the defense, oilfield, agriculture, road building and other industries.

 

They have decades of experience in subassembly and component projects in hydraulics, pneumatics and related technologies.

 

Areas of special expertise encompass subjects as diverse as control systems, electronics, digital controls and thermal and physical stress.

 

 Manufacturing Engineer

 

 

Ideal candidate will have 3 years of cnc programming experience using Mastercam software.  Should have experience using Inventor or similar solid modeling software.  Should be familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.  Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and must be able to work individually as well as in a team environment. 

 

 

Expectations:

 Write cnc programs for machining parts on horizontal machining centers, vertical machining centers, and lathes, including Mazak IntegrexPrepare estimatesDesign and create drawings for work-holding fixturesSelection and specification of toolingDevelop and specify process routingsWork with production on program/process optimizationMeet with Quality and define operational sequences

 

Requirements:

 5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environmentDegree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
