Euclid Universal, a custom gear and speed reducer manufacturer and a world leader of custom designed drive systems, is searching for a talented individual to aid in the manufacturing of gears.

Manufacturing Engineer - Gearing

The following experience is required:Manufacturing of Spur and Helical gears, Worm gears, and Wormshafts.Understanding of gear inspection methods and how to interpret inspection results.Designing work holding fixtures related to gearing.Hobbing, Shaving, and Shaping manufacturing processes. Troubleshooting problems related to gear manufacturing.

BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar Engineering degree is preferred. 5 years manufacturing experience in gearing is required. Candidates should excel at multi-tasking and have good communication skills to interface with office and shop personnel. Cad and 5S/Lean experience is preferred. This position will require involvement on the shop floor for the majority of the work day.
