Manufacturing Engineer/Continuous Improvement
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a metal fabrication manufacturer located close to DeKalb, Illinois. We require a candidate with a four year engineering degree and at least five years of experience in a Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role in a heavy industrial environment. We need a person with a strong background in Continuous Improvement as well as a process exposure to fabrication and welding. Experience in Lean and Cellular manufacturing implementation is important. Demonstrated experience in developing a metrics system to identify key improvement objectives is required. This position is a high profile role and we need a strong candidate with high energy, a strong manufacturing plant involvement and excellent communications and presentation skills.
