You will unleash the potential of your talents as never before.Our Columbus, IN Fuel Systems Plant is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. Duties will include but are not limited to:* Work closely with Operations and maintenance to help drive improvements in manufacturing processes.* Lead the capacity installation projects in a disciplined, cost-effective way.* Development of manufacturing process for new products and upgrade of existing equipment as necessary.* Lead process capability improvement and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.* Participate in Six Sigma improvement projects.* Initiate "Request for Appropriations" for capital equipment purchases.* Lead process improvement projects to improve quality, delivery and costs.* Assist Maintenance staff with machine troubleshooting and provide technical support.* Train operators an skilled trades on new processes and equipment.* document processes, procedures, and results.
