DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES:
* Multi-year business planning including sales and marketing strategy for new and existing designs, pricing and bookings/sales forecasting
* Competitive analysis
* Prepare, seek approval and implement plans for product line marketing and selling objectives
* Establish and meet annual growth plans and operating profit margin targets
* Identifying, initiating contact and pursuing potential new business opportunities and customers
* Customer visits, presentations
* Applications engineering, reading and interpreting drawings, schematics and specification review
* Reviewing Requests for Proposals, preparing Proposals, managing pricing meetings
* Understand product cost elements, analysis and price calculations
* Understand financial spreadsheets, ROI calculations
* Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions
* Ability to understand total company operations
* Work with and manage integrated multifunctional team (engineering, quality, procurement and manufacturing) developing, prototyping, qualifying new products
* Skilled at Project Management

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION NEEDED

This position requires a B.S. degree in an Engineering Discipline (alternatives will be considered on a case by case basis). MBA a plus.

* Ability to understand, explain and communicate complex technical and financial issues
* Superior oral & written communication and presentation skills
* Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
