Description• For equipment repairs, as well as monitoring, evaluating and maintaining the necessary parts for scheduled maintenance • utilize and maintain the SAP Preventive Maintenance system o Document findings from daily, monthly, bi-annual, inspections into sap and plan any repairs and make up work orders accordingly. • Ensure that all equipment has the appropriate preventive maintenance set up on the proper intervals outlined in SAP per the manufactures’ requirements.• coordinate with contractors to ensure that proper tasks are performed on preventive maintenance o Relate/coordinate with vendors material purchasing/planning and shut down coordination • plan each significant job and determines safety requirements, job steps, blueprints, materials, special equipment needs, and manpower required to perform necessary work o Plan preventive maintenance work using work orders. • track status of backlog - which jobs are planned and ready to perform, which jobs are waiting for materials, which jobs can only be done on major shutdowns, age of backlog • Manage compliance with maintenance objectives, etc. o Enter new equipment into sap and assign inspections accordingly. o Up-date BOM’s to each piece of equipment into sap. o Maintain all blue prints and files associated with mechanical equipment. • ensure that all work orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished • Attend internal and external meetings as required for the position.
