Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic - Sparks, Nevada

Overview:

International Fortune 100 Company has immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic in the Sparks facility.  This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Installing, repairing troubleshooting and setting up industrial process controls; AC/DC motor drives,   motor contractors, PLC's and general industrial equipment used in a manufacturing environment.Installing, repairing troubleshooting and setting up pneumatic, thermal, hydraulic controls, and troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems.Ability to read and interpret meters, schematic diagrams, blueprints, rules and other measuring instruments.Performing general maintenance tasks such as welding, painting, woodworking, and carpentry, as needed.Ensuring all equipment is maintained and in working in a safe and efficient manner.

Position Requirements:Minimum 2 years experience as an industrial maintenance electrician in a manufacturing environment.Technical School diploma/certificate with emphasis on electronic components.Auto CAD and PLC programming is preferred.An Electrical License is preferred; not required.Must be able to lift 75 pound.Strong communication and interpersonal skills that promote effective performance and cooperation with all parties, internal and external.Must possess Computer skills sets; preferably Microsoft Office.
