 MAILROOM CLERK

 

SUMMARY:  Provides mailroom and general office assistance.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Collects, stamps, and sends all outgoing mail.

·  Operates and maintains high volume mailing and shipping equipment.

·  Assists with general office duties including but not limited to copying, filing and faxing.

·  Receives, sorts, and distributes interoffice, U.S., and overnight mail.

·  Organizes and maintains file system; files correspondence and other records.

·  Maintains working knowledge of products.

·  Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.

·  Attends and participates in business/trade events that impact the business

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  One to two years related experience or equivalent.

·  Commitment to excellence and high standards.

·  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·  Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

·  Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

·  Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

·  Strong interpersonal skills

·  Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

·  Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

·  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
