Machinists Wanted….Nights and Weekends!!

 

Remmele Engineering, Inc. is currently looking for highly skilled Machinists to help support our Medical Device Business Unit located in Big Lake, MN.  These positions will set up and operate a wide range of machine tools and performs progressive machining operations on work involving very close tolerances or unusual requirements while working under minimal direction.  We are recruiting for candidates interested in either working on our night shift or on weekend days or weekend nights.

Essential qualifications for this position include a related two-year post high school diploma/certificate and a minimum of two years of relevant machining experience, or without the diploma/certificate, a minimum of six years of relevant machining experience. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, proficient in the use of machinist hand tools and measuring instruments, and Experience with a wide range of machining processes (such as milling, turning, grinding, process planning, inspection and safety factors) required. General knowledge of machine shop applications in geometry, algebra and trigonometry, experience in the set-up and operation of CNC machine tools, and possess the written, verbal and interaction skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively are also necessary.

The most qualified candidate will also possess demonstrated skills to edit programs through the machine controls, proficient PC skills in a Windows environment, demonstrated skills to apply statistical process control to machining, and work in a team environment.
