MULTIPLE - Documentation & Configuration Analyst, Manufacturing Value Stream Manager
HID Global Corporation, a leading manufacturer in the access control industry, serving customers worldwide with proximity and contactless smart card technologies, has two immediate job opportunities in our North Haven, Connecticut, manufacturing facility:
Documentation & Configuration Analyst to compile and maintain control of records and related files, including blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents by analyzing changes of product design and determine the effect on the end product design and prepare documentation necessary. Must have High School education and a minimum of 5 years documentation / configuration experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read and interpret ECO's, ECR's, specifications and other documents and must be able to work with minumum supervision. Must be familiar with Oracle or similar ERP system and Product Data Management Programs such as Agile.
Manufacturing Value Stream Supervisor to establish Value Stream goals and leading measures to support manufacturing and corporate objectives, and monitor and manage team performance accordingly. Duties include Continuous Improvement deployment within the value stream and being an innovator of positive change that favorably impacts Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, Lead Time and Profitabiliy. This individual would be responsible for training the Value Stream in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and use Lean manufacturing tools to eliminate manufacturing waste. Bachelor Degree preferred and must have prior leadership experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment and a minimum of 2 years experience in first and second level manufacturing leadership. Microsoft proficiency required and knowledge of Oracle preferred.
