MIS Coordinator - Regional

For quick consideration apply hereThis position will be responsible for support and training for an ERP (Lawson) accounting system for the Midwest APG locations. This includes teaching end-users job functions in relation to a computer system, analyzing data, troubleshooting problems, and other special projects. Will also be the second point of contact for any Lawson related requests, the first point being the Help Desk.Reporting Infrastructure: This position reports to the CFO.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Track all calls going to the Help Desk to determine training areas that are needed. • Identify and solve software problems through systematic troubleshooting and provide simple instructions to end-users for problem resolution. • Recommend IT procedures and processes to IT management to help the efficiency of APG systems • Direct all calls to the appropriate individuals if they can’t be answered by the Regional MIS Coordinator. • Provide changes to documentation to IT staff and management • Participate in writing documentation for end-users and IT Staff members in manual based Formats • Provide end-user training and new employee Lawson orientation when necessary. • Participate in various projects when needed. • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES• NoneQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Oldcastle Architectural, Inc. is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Information Technology degree preferred; 1 – 5 years of relevant experience in computer related field. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. • Ability to respond to common inquiries, complaints and support issues from end users. • Ability to communicate effectively to non-IT employees at all levels. • Ability to train end users. • Ability to speak Spanish a plus. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. • Possess great problem solving skills. • Must be able to travel 30% - 40% of the time (primarily in the Midwest region).For quick consideration apply here
