MD Warehouse Supervisor

We are a San Diego, CA based company that distributes fresh cut flowers to Wholesalers and Grocery stores. We are nationwide and are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for growing and maintaining the Maryland district.

The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise Logistics operations including product pulls, shipping/receiving, and fleet management functions in the warehouse. Other duties include, but are not limited to working with the sales team to increase sales and reduce shrink, and customer service. The successful Warehouse Manager will research ways to improve efficiencies and streamline processes.

The ideal candidate will possess at 3 plus years Warehouse Management experience with a strong knowledge of business development. Floral experience is a must. Exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to represent the company in a positive professional manner are expected. Candidate must be highly motivated, loyal, dedicated, self-starting, and able to work well with others as well as independently. Candidate must also be computer literate.

 

Duties:

* Monitoring daily inventory levels and product needs.

* Allocate shipments based on individual markets.

* Able to understand and identify selling trends in order to increase sales and decrease shrink.

* Ensure all orders are being pulled accurately.

* Maintains flow of operations by communicating production status, requirements, and problems to next shift.



*Knowledgeable of DOT laws and regulations.

*Ensure routine vehicle maintenances and safety of fleet.

*Responsible for hiring and training of driving staff.

* Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

* PREFERRED BILINGUAL - SPANISH SPEAKING
