Responsibilities:Maintain inbound/outbound inventory accuracy by:ensuring adherences to process.ensuring transactional accuracy.cycle counting and root causing discrepancies.Manage inventory to ensure FIFO and lot tracking.Manage shipping schedules to ensure on time delivery.Manage all material aspects in a JIT or Kan ban environment.Manage all inventory related changes including but not limited to: EWO’s TWO’s, break points, inventories, banks, min/max levels to ensure adequacy of supply, quality integrity and 5 alarm situations.Manage the flow of inbound material, stocking, picking, pull signals, shuttle activity and all processes that relate to these functions. Assure accurate metrics on all inbound loads, shuttles and min violations.Manage and control non-conforming material and obsolete material and their disposition.Manage returnable containers to suppliers and ensure availability.Manage transportation and logistics issues.Manage engineering changes and production trial material.Build customer and supplier relationships to meet performance, cost and lead-time requirements.Management of internal inventory system and its accuracy.Responsible for On the Job Training.Involved in Multi-Disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives company’s Continuous Improvement Process and Policies.Spearhead Continuous Improvement activities including system enhancements.Create Material Process Flow, Work Instructions and Forms.

 

 

Experience and Educational Requirements:Prior Automotive/Manufacturing Experience (Tier 1,2 and/or OEM) is required – this is a MUST!Educational: BA/BS degreeEducational: APICS Certification or training is a plus.Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Strong skills and background in Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production Scheduling, Manufacturing Process, Warehouse Management, Logistics, MRP and Supplier Management.Strong Computer skills and aptitude in Microsoft Office, ERP Systems, Warehouse Inventory Systems.Proven record in managing people and multiple departments.Demonstrated skill at leadership, communication, practical judgment and disciplined problem solving, coaching and training staff.Solid safety and housekeeping principles and record.CMA and sequencing experience.Results driven and excellent communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated customer-interfacing experience.Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities.
