MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING TEAM LEADER
Major Duties and Responsibilities
· Work concurrently with Product Engineers during new product development to aid in design for manufacturability.
· Conceptualize, procure and install machining fixtures. Generate and maintain CNC programs to machine product components.
· Design and procure CMM fixtures for machined production part inspection. Generate and maintain CMM Programs and implement gage plan to maintain part quality.
· Procure machine tooling, issue and maintain tool setup and drawings.
· Create, maintain and control machining process documentation.
· Develop and maintain process design standards.
· Coordinate, plan and develop department training.
· Develop and execute team budget.
· Direct Manufacturing Engineer staff in daily activities.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
· Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead department in development & optimization of machine processes & standard.
