We are a high-tech precision optics manufacturing facility, developing special technologies for the Military and Aerospace industries. We are looking for a machinist to operate and program a HASS CNC in our Glass Machine Shop which is part of our optical manufacturing department.  This is a job for a very skilled, independent, reliable, and highly organized person.

 

Requirements:8+ years machine shop experience. Tooling, Miling machine and Lathe experience an absolute must. CNC experience and knowledge of G code is a must.Experience in grinding and machining glass is a plus.Knowledge of conventional machinery. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. Ability to maintain, repair and troubleshoot shop machinery. Must be responsible, efficient and have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work independently and be extremely organized and neat.
