Logistics Supervisor
Sterigenics International, Inc., the world’s leading provider of sterilization solutions for the medical device, pharmaceutical and food processing industries is seeking a self-starter and excellent communicator to join our Smyrna, GA facility.
The Logistics Supervisor reporting to the General Manager inputs all production runs into E-1 accurately and in a timely manner, noting special instructions on customer’s incoming paperwork; has responsibility for all inventory control for a major customer which is maintained through the customer’s SAP system; oversees shipping and receiving operations, trains and supervises all Shipping/Receiving personnel, and maintains all related paperwork in accordance with Sterigenics’ quality and safety standards; coordinates inbound/outbound traffic and assists the Process Supervisor in maintaining adequate warehouse space necessary to conduct daily business.
Ideal candidates will have:Three to five years of production or logistics experience preferred Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English Above average computer skills in the area of analysis using databases/spreadsheets Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be medically approved for respirator use Must be able to tolerate exposure to high temperatures and high humidity (120 degrees F and 60% RH for 20 minutes)
