Job Scope

This position is responsible for ensuring all stock levels in the region are maintained at adequate levels, and providing timely and professional support to customer’s requests at all times.

 

ResponsibilitiesProcess customer order request and manage shipping methods to ensure effective on-time service at competitive rates.Log arrival of customer sales order and input data using internal data base system. Liaise with appropriate team members to gather relevant data and clarify order requirements.Liaising with Global Offices to order and track stock requirements through international shipping companies.Ensure invoices are forward to customers in a timely and accurate fashion.Ensure parts are delivered to customers on time and through cost effective strategies.Maintain effective stock control records.Acquire and maintain knowledge of warehouse stock to adequately respond to all customer inquiries and requests.Ensure compliance of local regulations for materials and equipment.Complete all shipping documents, ensuring that paperwork conforms to required regulations.Invoice all customer orders using internal data base system the same days as shipment.Proactively communicate with customers throughout the region to build a trusting relationship.Attempt to achieve and exceed customer expectations through on-going communication via phone and/or e-mail including effectively utilizing bilingual skills in English/Spanish (verbal/written).Able to operate movement of equipment parts and operate a forklift when needed.

Required SkillsExcellent communication skills in Spanish & English (written verbal & computer literacy).Able to respond and work with customers at all levels to meet and exceed expectations.Be a self starter, that can work both autonomously and as part of a team.Ensure a collaborative approach and is able to seek and listen to feedback across all areas of the business.Able to multi task and work under pressure.

ExperienceGood understanding of MPR stock control procedures.5 years experience processing, invoicing and managing international customer sales orders.Demonstrated work experience in a customer administration position.Experience in international packing and shipping would be an advantage.Worked in a customer service role previously.

This position reports to the Logistics Manager, however has direct accountability and responsibility for their own work.
