Hasbro's Latin America Region has offices in Chile, Brazil and Miami/Aventura, reporting to the Corporate Headquarters in Rhode Island. The major markets in the region are Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela, where we work through either our own subsidiary, distributors or directly with retailers. We are seeking a Logistics Associate to be based in the Miami/Aventura office to support the distributor markets; this position reports to the Logistics Manager. Logistics Associate's Key Responsibilities: 1. Traffic / Shipping: Assist in managing the entire supply chain product from manufacture/warehouse to distributor/customer optimizing inventory, volume, to accomplish product availability established by a marketing campaign / forecast. Assist with all domestic and international shipments to the region accomplishing monthly forecast.Support in the transportation of the product leaving from Miami (JAS), The Orient (CDS), and drop shipments from Hasbro’s different facilities (MA, California, etc.).Once credit approval is received from the accounting department for credit approval and shipping instructions are received from the Sales department a Packing List will be issued and sent to the warehouse to prepare the shipment (full container or a local delivery).2. Customs (Export): Prepare and file Shipper Export Declaration (SED) for shipments above $2000, with the U.S. Census Bureau's by Hasbro for full containers or the customer’s agent (freight forwarder, shipping line, etc) for loose cargo / consolidation. 3. WarehousingEnsure third party logistic providers are fully aware of Hasbro policies and procedures pertaining to shipping, receiving and warehousing and are regularly monitored to ensure compliance with said policies and procedures.4. Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer service, and ensure complete orders are transported to meet distributor/customer needs. Keep up to date with required shipping documents for each market to expedite the export/import process. 5.
