Logs Buyer/ Business development
Candidate mainjob is to establish & maintain relationship with suppliers & customers.50% of the time will be spend with logs suppliers & the other half developping new business.
We arelooking for someone who has at least 5 years experience of the logging industry in asimilar job. The candidate will be responsible for contacting (sometimes at night)potential suppliers of logs, book appointments, meet with them, negociateconditions and sometimes find solutions to close deals. Send POs, maintain a schedule of thedeliveries, follow up with these suppliers to make sure we got deliveries.
The companyalready has an establish customers base of 800 customers. Candidate will work with an establishmarketing team & will be responsible to develop more local business mostlywithin 300 milesradius. Candidate will have to callpotential customers, promote the product through the phone and set upappointments with potential customers. No experience necessary for this part of the job.
Candidatehave to be self-motivated, dynamic, organized, able to establish communicationchannels and willing to travel.
Basesalary, performance bonus, health plan, vacation, holidays & sick days.Schedule could be flexible for the right candidate.
