Latin America Sales Manager

Responsibilities will include:
�� Developing and maintaining a successful sales effort with distributor accounts in Latin America; working with distributors to find large end-user accounts;
�� Helping Distributors respond to Government and Business bids;
�� Identifying new sales opportunities for new distributors and for new end-user business working with partner distribution channels;
�� Coordinate marketing by distributors through the use of promotions, advertising, trade shows, new product introductions and literature;
�� Training overseas distributors on Extech products.
Skills and Experience expected:
�� At least three years in a similar environment with extensive experience identifying, setting up and supporting distributor networks.
�� The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in at least two languages, which must include English and Spanish. Portuguese is also desired.
�� Candidates must be organized and efficient in time management to analyze customer and prospect information.
�� Candidates must have experience in traveling internationally and demonstrate comfort spending up to 60% of the time (including week-ends spent on business trips) away from their home base.
�� Candidates must be proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
�� Candidates need to demonstrate effective use of computer and telecommunication technologies.
�� Must have Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with extensive analytical content.
