LNG Project Manager - Gas Transmission

Establish and maintain a strong, positive relationship with the key decision-makers within the employer and client's organizations. Focus LNG market and main refrigeration units. Supports client activity during the business development phase with technical support, budget and firm proposals. Acts as the project and market champion within D-R, leading all aspects of the business and project development from the initial stages through order entry. The employee will verify that Dresser-Rand is an acceptable supplier for the main refrigeration compressors and if not will develop the actions to get on the acceptable vendor list. Maintain close relations with the process licensors. Coordinate the preparation of the technical and commercial proposal, including the preparation of the price and issue recommendations based on market information, preparation of the value proposition, and completion of the risk assessment and project cash flow analysis per guidelines in a timely manner to obtain the necessary approvals. Participate in the project strategy meeting and recommend research & development projects for the company. Acts like a business unit with regard to expenses and supports the employer's processes and suggests improvements.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical and Thermodynamic Engineering or related field and 10+ years of related work experience required.

Rotating equipment experience preferably on turbo compressors. Project Management experience in proposal preparation, application, or operation of turbo compressors, and gas turbines is preferred. Very good understanding of machine design and thermodynamic principles and compressor performance application theory. Develop and maintain positive client relationships. Strong and confident presence in front of client, good presentation skills. Promote all products and services to the Pipeline HQ's and Pipeline EPC's. Proactively Develop Opportunities
