Your Ingenuity is welcome!Located at our Corporate offices in Milwaukee, WI, the Learning and Development Process Manager will support Corporate Leader Development department by implementing the Learning Management System globally at Johnson Controls. After implementation, this role will transition to process owner for L&D. In this role he/she will be the primary contact and coordinator of:
1. New definitions and/or changes to the L&D processes
2. Request for new functionalities
3. Creation of global curricula
4. Deployment for programs through the LMS
5. Solve policy problems regarding the LMS
6. Consult on how to use the LMS effectively
7. E-learning course development standards and advise
This person will also collaborate with outside vendors (content as well as LMS) and be able to assess proposals, select vendors, negotiate licenses and professional fees and follow through.
During LMS Implementation:
1. Manage the Global implementation project plan
2. Coordinate a global team of regional project managers that will be gathering needs and managing regional LMS implementations.
3. Interact with the LMS vendor to ensure proper configuration
4. Coordinate User Acceptance testing
5. Interact with I/T to ensure proper implementation of technical requirements.
6. Manage, update and generate reports from d-bases for succession planning, performance management, and other talent management processes.
7. Manages LD portal site content on behalf of LD
8. Interface with content and LMS vendors
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields including training, HR, industrial engineering, business, or IT. Advance degree or a MBA is preferred.2. 5 years of Program or Project management experience required.
3. Project management certifications will be an added qualification.
4. Previous experience implementing HR applications in a global organization. Experience in a LMS implementation will be an added qualification.
5. Experience in HR process management
6. Strong organization skills and demonstrated ability to execute projects on time, within scope and budget.
7. Strong written & verbal communications skills.
8. Ability to work well in a fast pace global work environment.
9. Demonstrated ability to work with different stakeholders and managing differing priorities with internal clients.
10.Willing to travel approximately 30%, including international travel.
11.Demonstrable experience in creating influence and impact with senior executives.
12.Above average analytical and intellectual functioning.
13.Comfortable working in multicultural environments.
