Currently, we have an opening for a Jr. Material Handler in our Parsippany, NJ facility.  The responsibilities for this position include:

 

Execute movements of products, supplies and other materials according to established policies and procedures.  Operate non motorized pallet jack to effectively and safely move products and material. 

 

· Storage and retrieval of product according to procedures established by PNY

· Accurate and timely fulfillment of work orders

· Perform inventory cycle counts as needed

· Compliance with PNY’s procedures and guidelines in order to minimize inventory discrepancies

· Safely operates non-motorized moving equipment

· Maintenance and cleanliness of work area on an ongoing basis

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

 

 

 Requirements:

 

· High school diploma or GED

· At least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified

· Knowledge of warehousing methodology

· Ability to multitask and work as part of a team

· Proficient with barcode scanning equipment

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

   

The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position requires some lifting (50 lbs. maximum unassisted), and standing or walking for extended periods of time.
