This position is responsible for the daily activity involving ship verification of customer orders and adjustments across all Heinz North America business units. By ensuring that all invoices and adjustments are timely and accurate, the Days to Pay (DTP) average and total deduction balance will be lower and it will provide better visibility to sales volume and period close metrics.Accountabilities' Learn and become actively involved in the detailed order to cash (OTC) process and how the Invoice/Adjustment Team impacts the accounts receivable balance, DTP rates, deduction volume and ultimately the company's bottom line.' Responsible for Daily Ship Verification process to ensure that invoice issues related to shipping are accurately addressed in a timely manner.' Responsible for daily maintenance of Open Orders Report for assigned warehouses and total warehouse maintenance for the team. Confirm that all orders which deliver within the fiscal period are invoiced and reported accurately within that period.' Process daily adjustments for assigned warehouses according to procedures for all divisions consistent with the supply chains focus on providing a customer centric mentality.' Responsible for the return and rebill process by ensuring satisfaction of the customer, customer service and inventory control. ' Assist with problem resolution on invoice errors, inventory reconciliation, or any other discrepancy related to an adjustment. ' Follow up of customer return to vendors by ensuring product returned in a timely manner and the correct credit given to our customers.' Generate weekly and monthly reports for distribution to departments with goals impacted by daily activities of group' Execute special projects as assigned to support company objectives to create a competitive advantage.' Analyze/modify queries for various cross-functional departments. BS/BA in Business Administration or related area preferred or related experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant customer service and warehouse experience required. Individual should possess problem solving and analytical abilities, professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to improvise. Individual must be able to make independent judgements using pre-established guidelines for the assigned warehouses. Individual should possess knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of other departments including, but not limited to, warehousing, inventory control and customer service.
