Inventory Control Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

 Liaison with merchants to understand/research/resolve purchase order errors prior to vendor transmittal. Review receiving documents and reconcile the vendor packing list to the Bluefly purchase order. Communicate with accounts payable and vendors to reconcile receiving reports with invoices. Check for correct sizing charts and product descriptions. Process/enter RTVs ; Initiating, tracking and receiving Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs).Coordinate & expedite requests, time-specific pickups and deliveries and other special requests.Assist in keeping promotional notes in purchase orders current and accurateTrack all open purchase orders, and notify the necessary individuals if a shipment will be lateAssist in resolving discrepancies (eg. Adding overages or new styles into the purchase order)

 

Qualifications:1-2 years experience in a inventory control, buying or supply chain settingAbility to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Manages time effectively and prioritizes completing tasks to meet deadlines. Attention to detail is a must.Thorough knowledge of freight forwarding operations and understanding of customs regulations.Demonstrated skills with multi-tasking and completing tasks on deadline.Strong computer skills.Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations. Handles work of diverse scope and complexity. Ability to expand job responsibilities, suggests improvements, and collaborates with others to generate ideas and improve processes.Uses customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information. Greets callers, establishes rapport, and projects professional tone.
