Inventory Analyst
Job Summary: Propose, design, implement and monitor systems/programs to help achieve Company and department inventory objectives. Insure inventory accuracy through systematic analysis and problem resolution of basic source problems, insuring timely and orderly processing of all inventory related activities. Major Responsibilities: Ensure timely, effective, and accurate cycle count program. Oversee all on-line transactions. Gather/analyze cycle count data; perform root-cause analysis and corrective action; report and distribute results to appropriate people/departments. Perform ongoing analysis of inventory; propose, design, and implement systems to facilitate obtaining inventory goals to help bring down inventory levels (identify, obsolete, slow moving inventory). Provide training, leadership, and procedural documentation to insure system discipline Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent education with several years experience in systems functions of inventory control and/or operations. APICS certification preferred.
