International Analyst
Liberty Diversified Industries (LDI) is a privately held manufacturing & distribution company founded in 1918 with 1,700 employees in 7 states and Mexico. LDI is made up of a diverse group of companies in a variety of industries. Here at LDI, we manufacture paper, corrugated packaging, corrugated plastic, fabricated steel products and design/distribute office products.
We currently have an opening for an International Analyst. This position will be responsible for performing operational tasks and analysis of transportation processes. This includes analyzing alternatives to promote operational efficiencies, compliance initiatives, cost reductions, and lead-time improvements.
Additional responsibilities:
· Develop and support corporate compliance initiative and clearance strategy.
· Create and analyze reports to support multiple business units.
· Support vendor/business partner relationships.
· Perform data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis.
· Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecast and cost models.
· Develop business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product, and technology then identify logistics process improvements.
Technical/ Performance Skill Requirements:
· Business Analysis – Clarifies and resolves business issues by breaking them down into meaningful components, determine root cause, and redesign internal and external business process.
· Business Communication - Writes, speaks, and presents clearly across a variety of communication settings, software, & technology.

Experience/Education Requirements:
· Transportation Logistics Degree.
· One to three years related experience in transportation, with strong focus on international traffic management.
· Customs broker experience a plus
