Instrumentation Technician

PCC Airfoils is seeking a Instrumentation Technician for the Wickliffe, Ohio facility.  This facility employs over 630 employees.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

ü  Assist in the specification, installation, set-up, and calibration of instrumentation and related equipment, systems and processes.  These include various Electronic, Thermal, Pneumatic, Vacuum, Hydraulic, Robotic, and Computer.

ü  Maintain and if necessary, repair existing instrumentation/electronic equipment used in the plant.

ü  In conjunction with Quality, Process Control, and/or Customer requests, routinely performs calibrations for all plant instrumentation.

ü  Keep accurate documentation of all repairs and calibrations.

ü  Maintain and develop necessary skills for the care and proper use of recording, indicating, and control instrumentation used in the plant.

ü  Assist and instruct others as required in the use and operation of plant instrumentation and related systems and equipment.

ü  Other Maintenance as may be required.

 

  QUALIFICATIONS:

 

ü  Must at least have A.S. Degree in Electronics or equivalent training from a technical school.

ü  Must have a minimum of 1 year of Electronics/Instrumentation experience.

ü  Must be capable of logically analyzing problems and functioning effectively with a minimum of supervision.

ü  Must be able to troubleshoot systems with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

ü  Must have excellent oral and written skills.

ü  Must be able to work well with others.
