Inside Sales Engineer


We are seeking a talented individual to join our Brea, California Regional Sales office as an Inside Sales Engineer. Here is a summary of the position:

Position Description:
To assist customers in specifying proper products/applications in order to meet application-specific requirements.  Also, to support the outside sales force (i.e. allow the outside sales force to do more selling and less technical research, quoting and order tracking).  Allows the customer to have an immediate point of contact in absence of the outside sales person.

Prime Responsibilities:
>Provide application and technical support to customers and the outside sales staff.
>Assist the customers and outside sales staff with pricing and delivery information; answer technical questions about performance and application reliability, etc.
>Review and approve product applications.
>Work with sales specialists/order entry to assure incoming orders are accurate for order entry.
>Understand and implement commercial issues and terms.
>Prepare quotations and project bid specifications.

Must possess:
>Bachelor’s degree in any field or
>Associates degree in a technical field and at least 2 years of related experience or
>At least 5 years of related experience

Requirements also include:
>Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
>Customer service skills
>Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications
>Ability to write reports and business correspondence
>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of managers, outside sales reps, and customers

*Experience with Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Analytical Process Instrumentation a Plus.
