Inside Sales Coordinator

50% Inside Sales Admin / 50% General Clerical

 

 Incoming telephone calls

Answer incoming calls from customers and assist them with their requests, including but not limited to:

 

Ø  Data Entry into databases.

Ø  Price quotes calculated by both computer and manual pricing matrixes.

Ø  Communicate delivery schedules.

Ø  Troubleshooting to ensure customer needs are met.

 Order generation

Transfer and calculate necessary manufacturing criteria to a usable format whether in manual or electronic media.

 

Ø  Deliver to the manufacturing supervisor all completed orders for production.

Ø  Maintain an ongoing dialog with manufacturing personnel to address manufacturing questions/concerns, customer requests, schedule changes, shipping issues and anything affecting our mutual goals.

 Order Entry

Input all daily orders and required information in computer and/or manual formats.

 

Ø  Generate and maintain any necessary databases for tracking sales, costs, inventories and reports as requirements dictate.

Ø  Input daily computerized shipping information and generate labels and documents.

 Facility Support

As situations arise, assist with sourcing (utilizing a company provided vehicle) repair parts, shop needs, raw materials and deliveries.

 

Ø  As needed, pick up various items in the metro area needed for the factory and/or office.

Ø  On occasion, deliver to various carriers orders not completed timely enough for standard pick up times.

Ø  Remain flexible in work schedules to accommodate the daily demands of an aftermarket facility.

 Housekeeping

  Keep office and workspace areas clean and orderly.

 Qualifications

1. Education:  Minimum high school or equivalent.

2. Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend written guidelines and instructions and perform basic verbal and written communication.  Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus.

3. Communications Skills:  Ability to receive, listen, and understand in-coming telephone calls, verbal and written communication from Sales people, outside transportation firms, suppliers, and internal communication.  Exhibit a pleasant demeanor at all times.

4. Accurate attention to detail.

5. Reasoning:  Ability to apply general rules to determine resolutions of requests and be able to process numbers as needed to perform shipping transactions.

6. Computer skills:  Basic knowledge of keyboard and databases.

7.  Ability to deal with change and a fast-paced environment.

8.  Strong math/measurement skills.
