Inkjet Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Engineer for overall system and component-level design of digital and traditional print processes and products from concept to production including: understanding and defining system specifications, coordinate design of subsystems, prototype testing, mentoring of staff engineers, administration of external machine and fabrication shops, and other duties related to the design and release of new products. 

 

The essential technical skills are: 

· BS (MS Desirable) in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering

· Minimum of 7-10 years engineering experience on complex projects involving multiple engineering disciplines

· Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience in the industrial inkjet or similar industry

· Proven track record of taking a design from concept to production though all phases of design cycle in the industrial machinery space

 

Familiarity with any of the following is an advantage:

· Transport of paper, films or substrates in roll to roll format

· Knowledge in integrating motion and fluid control systems

· High speed timing of complex systems, very high accuracy motion control, concentric drive systems

· CAD design and detailing
