Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description· Manage server consolidation projects thru the entire project life cycle· Execute project management tasks including project planning, resource identification, coordination, and management, change management, issue resolution, risk mitigation, status reporting, project documentation, and customer communications· Coordinate application review· Revalidate physical design with architects· Serve as a resource for researching and recommending commercially available technologies and solutions· Serve as SME for IT infrastructure migration / consolidation projects Skills Required· 5+ years experience in managing large scale and complex IT infrastructure projects· 10+ years experience in mid range server administration, DBA, and middleware (web server) support· Familiar with current and back levels of Microsoft OS, SQL Server and IIS technologies· Familiar with Virtualization technologies (HW, OS, SW, and storage)· Previous experience in ITIL base change management· 5+ years in depth knowledge of Internet Protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and core  networking concepts (DNS, VLANs, firewall/DMZ, load balancing, LAN, WAN)· Ability to drive project activities and deliver on time in a multiple vendor environment· Capable of driving project and delivery on time in a multi-vendor environment· Must possess strong problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively addressing complex technical problems· Familiar with Microsoft Office tools in performing daily tasks.  Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook Contact InformationName  : Prabhu SridharanEmail : PSridharan@csc.com   Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager Company: CSC Covansys Corporation Location: VanBuren Township, MI 48111 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Project Management Company: CSC Covansys Corporation Email: Apply by Email Reference Code: 50867
