We offer a continual focus on training and development and a financially sound company in a growing industry.  We are currently looking to add an Infrastructure Architect to our Milwaukee Headquarters.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Planning, analysis, design, development and testing of new and existing infrastructure systems

· Developing implementation plans to support global IT initiatives by diagnosing, researching and resolving complex issues for infrastructure systems on a global basis

· Technical and project planning, process improvement, technical support training of IT staff, budgeting and reporting.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree or at least five years experience in a sophisticated multiple vendor information systems infrastructure environment

· Must have VMWare and MS Active Directory experience

· Detailed knowledge of current technologies and developments in the IS industry

· Microsoft Certified Training

· Experience with server hardware, Novell/Window/Linux network OSs, storage systems, virtual server platforms, disk to disk backup systems, e-mail, data center facility management (power, AC, server reach configurations), system management tools, desktop management systems (ZEN Works, SMS) WANs, LANs, DNS, DHCP etc.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to grasp new concepts quickly and have the desire to learn new skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must as is the ability to embrace change in a positive and enthusiastic manner

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and be able to manage multiple project deadlines.

 

DESIRED:

· IS experience with an emphasis in manufacturing
