Information Management Associate

Job Title:  Information Management AssociateDepartment:  Information ManagementReports To:  Information Management SupervisorType:   Full-time hourly 1st shift
Major Responsibilities    Computer Work

Reformat customer data for electronic import into electronic assembly instruction program

Review, create and edit electronic assembly instructions 

Review, create and process manufacturing change documents to support customer requests

Create and edit database data (ERP) as required per customer changes

  -Bill of Materials

  -Revision and lot control set up

Review and verify completeness of CAD, Gerber files 

Set up electronic WIP, QA and Materials controls for production jobs as required

 

Manual/Analysis Work

Review all customer documents (Bill of Materials, CAD, Gerber, Assy Dwgs, part specs, schematics)

for completeness and accuracy

Identify and obtain missing data/files from customers

Work with customers to obtain required information/documents/files

Determine proper Bill of Materials structure (subassys, make-or-buy coding) and  Work with panel vendors as required to edit or create new PCB panel dwgsWork with internal engineers/production/materials to identify all process requirementsthat should be provided in the electronic assembly instruction program(includes proper routing steps, WIP,QA and lot trace-ability controls)Work with customers, engineers, sales and production personnel to resolve issues OtherParticipate in continuous improvement program (Kaizen events, etc..)

Requirements

n High school graduate a minimum  (Technical school graduate a plus but not required)

n Good to strong experience with Microsoft Excel or Word a minimum

-CAD experience a plus but not required!

-Ability to read technical documents (assy.dwgs, specs etc.) a plus but not required

-Company will provide training on specialized software programs

n 1-2 years experience working in a PCB manufacturing environment a plus but not required

n Ability to work and communicate with customers, engineers, sales and production personnel

n Good written and oral communication

n Fast learner, able to multi-task, is very detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
