Our Golden Facility has an opportunity available for a talented Industrial Painter. This position will be located in Golden, CO. Position Summary: Responsible for painting high quality ceramic and metal products. Essential Functions: Industrial painting in a manufacturing environment, painting finished products Operates machine(s) in assigned area under limited supervision. Performs detail-oriented tasks requiring good hand-eye coordination and utilizing basic language and basic math skills. Follows approved work instructions and suggests innovative solutions to improve quality, decrease cycle time and reduce costs. Demonstrates proficiency in basic skills and routine tasks necessary to run numerous operations in department. Exhibits troubleshooting skills on specific equipment, and maintains equipment as required. Demonstrates the ability to continually learn and advance skills to gain an understanding of other tasks within the department’s total process flow. May work on assignments that are routine and semi-routine in nature. Willingly accepts responsibility of sharing skills and knowledge; trains other employees. Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments. Possesses the ability to use the computer system for basic departmental functions. Is proficient using the manufacturing computer system to recognize errors and take steps to make corrections. Understands and meets or exceeds quality standards; seeks to minimize reject rate. Participates in continuous improvement efforts. Supports and helps to implement new ideas. Must maintain acceptable level of performance.
