$70,000 Base Salary. Manage a team of 7. Working for a fortune 500 company. Great opportunity to grow withThe position encompasses the following: 1: Lead and manage team of 7 members to support import and export trade compliance needs for the Americas Region. Includes Canada, Mexico, Brazil and the USA. 2: Drive cost reductions programs such a as duty drawback, free trade agreements, etc. 3: Liason with internal and external customers to ensure regulations are understood and followed. 4: Work closely with external parties, such customs brokers and freight forwarders, suppliers to drive continuous improvement, ensure quality performance and regulatory compliance 5: Conduct risk assessments and develop follow up plans. 6: Support other regions as needed. 7: Develop Team members to ensure proper skills are in place and members are continually improving and gaining new skills. 8: Impact export sales and foreign to foreign sales. 9: Ability to operate strategically in matrix environment. Percentage of Travel: 20-25% Min. Yrs. Experience: 5 Position is responsible for establishing and maintaining all Export/Import guidelines, policies, procedures, and internal controls for the Americas region. Includes HTS classification, Customs Valuation, Export Licensing, Free Trade Agreement programs, Governmental Audits, Country of Origin documentation, Recordkeeping, Restricted Party Screening, Anti-boycott regulations, Export declarations, Duty drawback programs, C-TPAT, 10 +1 requirements, as well as any other governmental regulation related to trade Excel; Proficient typing; Oral & Written Communication Skills; detail-oriented At Manpower, our mission is to serve as trusted advisors in the changing world of work.
