IT Compliance Analyst

IT Compliance Analyst Tyco Safety Products is a division of Tyco International, a worldwide leader in fire protection and electronic security solutions. Within Tyco Safety Products, we design, manufacture, and distribute thousands of products ranging from fire detection and suppression systems, personal protective equipment and intrusion security to access control and video solutions, anti-theft and supply chain solutions.Tyco Safety Products is currently searching for an IT Compliance Analyst to be located in Boca Raton, Florida. Job Responsibilities:This role is responsible for developing compliance policies, procedures and best practices that can be leveraged over the TSP IT organization globally. Responsible for managing the activities resulting from Sarbanes Oxley compliance, IT risk assessments and internal audits. Activities resulting from Sarbanes Oxley compliance, IT risk assessments and internal audits. Assist in the IT compliance initiatives for the global data centers. Perform self-audits on a rotational basis throughout the year to ensure that data centers remain compliant. Assist the sites in remediation activities resulting from Audits (Internal, SOX, etc). Work with Finance in documenting application controls. Developing compliance policies, procedures and best practices that can be leveraged over the TSP IT organization globally. Identify key communication points during the project and work with the IT Finance Manager or IT team to report progress. Requirements: IT background with good overall understanding of IT processes and infrastructure knowledge. Should be able to understand controls - what they are, their impact, how they are tested, etc (audit background would be ideal.) Ability to define best practices and implement them. Need to be a good communicator to achieve buy in. Need to be results oriented with project management skills; having a good understanding of Six Sigma tools will be helpful as well.Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.At least 3 years relevant experience. Technical IT and/or audit knowledge background. Knowledge of IT processes and controls what they are, their impact, how they are tested, etc. Infrastructure knowledge. Six Sigma knowledge/certification a plus. Audit certifications (ie. CISA) a plus. Ability to define best practices and implement them. Must be results oriented with project management skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment where change is expected. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
