IT Business Partner Manager - Finance

  The Manager, Business Partner for Financial Applications is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies and works principally with management and the Financial function.  This is the liaison between IT and the business community providing leadership and managing implementation priorities to support business strategies.  This position will supervise 3-5 IT Business Analysts. Finance Experience: 1. Provide strategic consultancy support to assigned customers in defining or designing business processes and researching and identifying enabling technologies based on customer needs. 2.Manage projects and be responsible for the overall implementation and execution of project and performance criteria; maintain full knowledge of all stages of business-specific technology implementations. 3.Actively seek ways to apply technology to business processes; researching and providing information on technical trends and competitors, as well as practices relevant to assigned business community. 4.Work with all areas of IT to remain apprised of project status and inform business management of progress. 5.Ensure enterprise IT and department priorities are established and communicated to the business community. 6.The Manager, Business Partner will set priorities for own work and others, make decisions with limited guidance, and translate strategy into action plans for others.  In addition, this position exerts influence on the IT overall objectives and long-range goals for the business community they support and supports the Director in developing strategies, driving results, influencing decisions with management, conflict management, interpersonal effectiveness, and implementing change.    Job Requirements: Job Requirments:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems required. Experience with Oracle Financials is beneficial, but not required – comparable software experience acceptable.Five to seven years business experience in Accounting or Finance that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of integrated systems. Five or more years of management experience including strong competencies and experience with the following areas: · Strong people management skill set Strategic thinking and leadership, with strong abilities in relationship management. · Knowledge of the assigned business area's products and processes as it relates to   Sales and Marketing. · Experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business. · Strong project management and execution of large-scale development projects (or co-   management with IT or business unit). Project Management Certification a plus. · Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all   management levels and business process owners. · Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively express   complex technical concepts. · Strong analytical and conceptual skillsDivision/Department : SoloCup Travel Required : None LOCATION: HIGHLAND PARK, IL 60035
