GENERAL SUMMARY: The IT Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for proactive life cycle management of IT assets, on a global basis. This position will establish and refine IT Asset Management processes and will contribute to the IT strategy and planning processes, concerning the appropriate use of technology and its cost.

This position requires availability 24 x 7 and during certain periods may require long hours, including weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop, implement and refine asset management processes and procedures -Work with management to optimize procurement strategy; coordinate leasing activities as required
-Optimize asset control and inventory management processes to track accountability identification, location, maintenance, contracts and lifecycle status
-Function as liaison between all the parties (internal and external) involved in the asset management processes
-Ensure compliance with all software licenses agreements and software usage
-Conduct inventories and reconcile all technology assets with current IT Asset and financial databases
-Effectively manage asset disposal
-Work with company staff and management to develop and maintain positive relationships with third party vendors and leasing companies.
-Carry out other duties as directed by the IT Director.

Required Education:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year program (In absence of Bachelors, 4 years of additional experience in IT or related-field may serve as a trade-off for degree.)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Strong IT asset management background, including tool sets
-Vendor management and negotiation skills
-Ability to coordinate activities across multiple parties
-Working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Outlook Mail.
-Project Management skills -Strong process thinking
-Strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
-Ability to work independently with little supervision -Attention to detail a must
-Experience in managing leases a plus

Required Length & Type of Experience:
-3 - 5 years IT asset management experience
