IS Coordinator

 

 

Our client is seeking an IT professional with broad experience. The most important personality aspect will be to get a self starter who is responsible and wants be proactive to help improve the company (not just a reactive person who solves problems).

 

Responsible for the operation of the IS department and for recommending new and updated systems. This is a contract to hire position.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Uses knowledge of information systems to perform hardware and software maintenance and upgrades.Analyzes user needs and provides solutions via existing hardware and software developing appropriate alternatives. Develops user training on procedures and software.  Answers user questions and resolves problems in a timely manner. Interfaces with software and hardware vendors.  Determines company needs and makes recommendations for upgrades and improvements to current systems.Manages network including volume space, user rights and log-ins.Maintains system and user security clearances.Maintains knowledge of current technologies and determines future needs.Maintains documentation on all software and hardware packages and specialized reports.Maintains and defines specifications on hardware (PC and laptop) for production needs.Maintain Remote user access hardware and softwareCreate, Maintain and update user reports utilizing report writing software, primarily Crystal Reports.Maintains Website

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Knowledge - Requires a basic knowledge of Information Systems hardware and software; ability to communicate in a clear, understandable manner,, the ability to understand data processing applications and ERP systems; knowledge ordinarily acquired through attainment of high school diploma, 4+ years of college or technical institute courses and 3 years of applicable experience.
