Job Description

 

Caristrap International Inc. is the original inventor of cord type “Synthetic Steel” strapping products, accessories, and applications.  We are presently seeking a company minded, motivated individual to fill the position of iNDEPENDANT SALES AGENT IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA.  This individual will be working from his home office. 

 

Development of long-term relationships with existing and new corporate customers through the sourcing of new applications for our products will be key. The Sales Territory Manager will deliver improved coverage of all potential markets.

 

The ideal candidate must be a creative and strategic thinker and a hands-on professional manager.  Autonomous, highly driven and self motivated, this person will be comfortable working in a high-growth, fast paced, team environment while working closely with management and internal teams to constantly refine both account targets and the associated sales strategy being pursued. 

 

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

 

· Strong sales and management experience.  Must have experience in manufacturing and industrial sales.  Enthusiastic, common sense, and business minded, you are an effective salesperson who is passionate about achieving goals.

 

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.  You are capable of developing and building successful relationships with varying levels of customers while maintaining good relations with current partners.

 

· Intuitive, ethical and skilled at negotiating win/win scenarios with customers.  You understand and address both customer and company needs while identifying ways to maximize relationships and program potential with current partners.

 

· Identify potential complementary business partners and channels.  Develop and present partnership programs to potential business partners.

 

· Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans including volume objectives and strategies that are consistent with corporate strategies. 

 

· A team player that believes in the power of collaborative management, you are hard working individual who believes in hands-on training, coaching through example and possesses strong motivational skills and managerial abilities.

 

Education:

 

· Bachelors degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent work experience

• Proven quantifiable track record


 

Other requirements:

 

· Able to take an active role in industry relations and networking with pertinent associations such as Association of American Railroads (AAR), TAPPI, ASTM etc.

· Hard working, confident, ambitious, and self disciplined with a strong work ethic

· Excellent communication skills written and oral

· References will be requested if an initial interview is granted.
