IFRS Manager
United Technologies Corporation, a Fortune top 50 company is a dynamic global corporation operating at the leading edge of commercial and military aviation, aerospace systems, climate control, elevator design, security and fire protection as well as hydrogen fuel cell development * Assist in the evaluation of the impact of the IFRS conversion to UTC's financial statements. * Analyze the impact of emerging accounting standards on business operations * Identify and update accounting and finance policies resulting from the implementation of new accounting standards and promulgations * Assist in the development, design and implementation of a formal IFRS technical accounting training curriculum for UTC * Work on other specific technical accounting projects as required by the Corporate Controller's Group BS in accounting Certified Public Accountant preferred Ability to work across a diverse group of businesses and functions Deep understanding of US GAAP and ability to perform effective technical accounting research Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards Seven to ten years of related experience United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
